Times Are Changing

. . . Hearing the wind blowing through the back door reminds me that colder weather is on the way . . . that outside conditions are changing.

We may be faithful reading our Bibles, studying God's Word in Bible Study, attending worship, joining a Sunday School class, praying for friends and family, our nation and the world, but my friends, times are changing out there.

It's a colder world we live in; a world where everything is permitted; where there is no right nor no wrong; where many not only do not believe in the One True God, but they may worship idols and false gods or they consider themselves their own god.

When you go to speak the Truth, there are those around who may mock and ridicule you.  The thought process is, it's ok if they speak what they feel is truth, but when you try to share God's truth you are looked down upon.

Don't give up!  Even though the conditions are changing outside the church, keep the faith and continue on the path of righteousness.  Love those who are disrespectful.  Pray for those denying that our One True God exists.  Let's not become hostile; lets be the rational being, but firm and strong in God's Word.

Psalm 32:7-8 "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."

God provides us what we need.  Seek God in prayer and trust Him to answer your prayers.  Be faithful through it all.  Jesus is coming back one day.  Are you ready?  Is the world ready?  We need to reach out in love and share God's Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ so that we all will be ready on that day of Jesus' return.

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."

I pray for YOU to find yourself strong, full of God's power and love; to have confidence that YOU will have and hear the words God wants you to share with those you encounter.

Hey World.........God Loves You.
Hey World.........We Love You.
Hey God............We Love You And We Need You.

Together we can make these changing times outside productive for Kingdom work, one step and one Word at a time.
